The Small Print of Renting Heavy Equipment 

Rentals are delivered with an attachment (bucket or forks) included in your quoted rental price.   Rentals must be used with the attachment(s) provided/rented.  Adding another accessory or attachment may cause damages to the Bobtach, Pin-on or Power Xchange (quick attach systems).   Rentals must remain at the same job site for the duration of the rental agreement.  We do make exceptions for long term rentals with contractors.  

Rental Rates:

Individual prices are stated above.  Daily rental prices include 8 hours on the clock and 24 hour minimum on site.  Weekly rental prices include 40 hours on the clock and a minimum of 7 days on site.  Monthly (4 weeks) rental prices include 160 hours on the clock and a minimum of 28 days on site.   Half day rates are not available.  

Extra Costs Over and Above the Rental Rate:

Delivery and pick-up are extra.  The rate is dependent on the distance to your location.  All rentals must be delivered to the site where the work is being completed.  The total cost is usually between $150 and $400.  Customers are not permitted to pick up equipment.  

Hourly overages on equipment may result in extra charges.  

Renters must present an insurance certificate with an endorsement for Bobcat of Parry Sound Ltd.  Individuals without insurance for rentals may purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of 15% of the total rental cost only.  

The rental will be delivered with a full tank of DIESEL fuel, and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for fuel used or fill the rental with diesel fuel prior to pick-up.  

Your rental comes with a cleaning prior to delivery and after pick-up.  If the machine requires a significant amount of time for cleaning after pick-up beyond our normal scope of the job, you may be charged a cleaning fee of $65.00.

Our rentals are all non-smoking units.  Smokers will be charged the cleaning fee automatically and there will be a $100 surcharge to replace cabin filters.

HST is applicable to all of the above charges.
